this song gives me goose bumps as I think about everything that happened in the chimera ant arc. i cant watch a anime and not compare it to this masterpiece. I always find myself coming back to hunter x hunter. I just finished rewatching the entire show again and I wanted cry blood when the Narrator kept on TALKING and stretching the episode out. The spiders stomping some ants (which shouldn't count since it was technically a B story).The arc up until Gon got his Nen back was great but after it got a 5/10 while Greed Island has a 10/10 the Hunter Exams have a 8/10 heavens arena 8/10 and the auction, or Kurapikas arc solid as gold 9/10. Same with Killua's feelings about Gon's mental, which was used to force an introduction of Godspeed as Killua himself says: 'nothing personal, im just in a really bad mood.' There were definitely some good moments in the arc.

Gon's breakdown was done perfectly, because the narrator didn't spell it out. Then the king dies of corrosive damage in the most wholesome touching way possible, but when you look at it from a different perspective, he became a board game addict and a simp which led to his downfall. But even with a pace like that, 10,000 is complete BULL 🐂💩. I can punch 8 times in a second which is pretty normal since there next to no power behind em regardless of my arms extending out all the way. He's not just punching he's praying then punching then pausing after each punch for another 3 seconds. 'Yeah that 12 minute thought process along with expression changes which would already take seconds long added with realizations and movement was less than 10 seconds' 'The fight between the King and Netero barely lasted a minute' like what bs is this on? Doing 10,000 punches in less than an hour whilst going without food water or shelter for 5 years without any weight loss but a GAIN in strength and mass?! 600 punches if you were punch every second is already an hour. They kept stretching every, single, mfkn, moment in the show where things were tense and then being like. The only time the narrator was needed was to explain Killua's Godspeed whirlwind and speed of lightning, the lore of the Poor Mans Rose was fine as well. Instead of them just showing the action and the CHARACTER for the love of me pondering the events that occured and filling in any blanks like they did before. The whole 'it was only in a split second' crap but the scene is taking 5 minutes thing got old QUICK. They were doing it simply to stretch the show out. Unlike previous arcs where we can figure out what the show was trying to tell us or left to think about the events that have transpired, this narrator will take the LIFE out the show by just saying everything that we already saw, spoiling things to come, and telling us DIRECTLY, what had been shown to us liker we're mindless babies.

Too much bs, Gon was making me feel sad, and the narrator prolly had a dry mouth after all the talking he did. That ant arc wasn't as good as the others at all.
